Dennis Vee is a stand-up comedian, actor, and proud Army veteran who accidentally turned a short enlistment into a 20-year military career. He first hit the comedy stage in NYC in 2001, but traded jokes for jump boots a week after 9/11. Now retired and finally reunited with the mic, Dennis is making up for lost time — one laugh at a time.

He’s opened for Orlando Jones, hosted and featured for viral sensation Drew Hernandez (aka A Combat Veteran), and hit the road with burn survivor and comedy warrior Bobby Henline. He’s performed on stages across the country, lent his voice to commercials and characters, and even took the theater route as an understudy in The Odd Couple at Cape Fear Regional Theatre — proving he can go from ruck marches to Neil Simon without missing a cue.

Dennis brings a raw, hilarious perspective shaped by deployments, dark humor, and a relentless love for storytelling. For him, comedy didn’t just save his sanity — it handed him the mic and said, “Go on, say something stupid.”
